Honda Motor Southern Africa is proud to announce the introduction of the facelifted Honda Amaze range, boasting a host of new features including a brand-new infotainment system, improved exterior design and now also available with a full-black interior.

In response to consumer feedback and demand, one of the most significant changes to the exterior design of the facelifted Amaze is the brand-new front grille, which replaces the signature “Solid wing face” of the original model to create a much more pleasing look for the front end of the model. Additionally, to create further exterior differentiation from the Trend Model, the Comfort now gains new 15” diamond-cut alloy wheels and LED Front Fog lights. At the rear, the Amaze now features LED tail lights and a revised rear bumper with a new chrome accent lending the sedan a smarter look.

On the interior, both Trend and Comfort models now come standard with full-black interior upholstery, doing away with the two-tone beige and black design of the original model. The Comfort model also features a new 7” touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility to appeal more to modern day consumers seeking technology and connectivity. For added convenience, the new infotainment system also incorporates a reverse parking camera on the Comfort model, while rear park distance control is now a standard feature across the range.

Although the overall design remains mostly unchanged, these small styling changes present a significant improvement over the outgoing model which should bode well in attracting a slightly broader target audience.

The colour line-up for the updated Amaze includes a range of colours: Platinum white (pearl), Lunar silver (metallic), Radiant Red (Metallic), and a new Meteoroid Grey (Metallic) which replaces Modern steel.
